A murder investigation has led to the horrific discovery of a Southern California in-home strip club, where seven adopted children lived and were allegedly abused.
The house, located in Perris, Calif., had a dancing pole and platform, alcohol and a private "Exotic Zone," the Valley News reports. It belongs to Gregory Bernard Lacy, 60, and LaQuron D. McLean Lacy, 43, who have both been arrested on suspicion of abusing their children.
Police made the discovery while investigating the July fatal shooting of Calvin Lynch, 46, in the Lacys' front yard.
The adopted children, all under 11 years old, told authorites that their "Mom" and "Dad" hit them with belts, a metal cane, fists, hangers and metal objects, leaving them with injuries and scars, the Press-Enterprise reports. The children said that their "Mom" would lock them in their bedrooms and refuse to feed them, and a 6-year-old child said his "Dad" threatened the children with a Taser.
A 7-year-old girl told police that her "Dad" had molested her on a bathroom floor and some of the children said they had witnessed it.
The children also witnessed the all-night strip club parties, and investigators found at least five Ecstasy pills sitting on the home's kitchen counter, the Los Angeles Times reports.
Lynch's murder is still under investigation, and no arrests have been made.
Gregory is being held on $1 million bail and LaQuron is being held on $50,000 bail, both on multiple counts of child abuse, the Inland Empire Weekly reports. Their arraignments are scheduled for later this month.
All seven children have been removed from the home by county caseworkers.
